Pic Saint-Pierre is a lookout point overlooking the Couze Pavin valley, with 360° views of the Massif du Sancy, Chaîne des Puys and Livradois-Forez.

At the summit of this deserted plateau, at an altitude of 1000 m, the ancient volcano of Pic Saint-Pierre dominates the landscape. It was here that a monastery was built in the Middle Ages. A small chapel, open all year round, remains from this glorious period, surrounded by the remains of the old church, monastery and cemetery. The perfect spot for a picnic with a view!

Étape 1 : From the Col de la Feuille on the RD 619, follow the yellow signposted path to Pic Saint-Pierre. An 800 m climb awaits you!

Étape 2 : At the 2 crossroads with paths to the left, stay on the right-hand path.

Étape 3 : At the summit of Pic Saint-Pierre, turn around and take the same path back to Col de la Feuille.
