Come and breathe fresh air in the Massif du Sancy. Hundreds and hundreds marked miles are allowing you to discover local wonders, whether you are a professional or a beginner hiker. The Massif du Sancy is a reference for pedestrian hikes.
The Sancy is full of small hiking trails, more than 670km all around the land (416mi.). For every level, everyone can find happiness for walks from 1 to 6 hours; you can discover waterfalls, streams, landscapes and volcanic landscapes. Even children can make the most of family walks.
You may also discover unbelievable landscapes such as Puy de Sancy, Banne d’Ordanche, Puy de la Perdrix, Pavin Lake, Chambon Lake …
It exist specific marked trails in the Massif du Sancy (yellow marking) with directional signs, here at every crossroad where you can find the destination place and the kilometers that are left. Maps are here to indicate where we are and all the routes available with sectors.

The Puy de Sancy is the crossroad of multiple great hike routes crossing the Massif du Sancy.
Walk along the volcanic mountains and lakes on the GR30® Tour des Lacs d'Auvergne (Auvergne Lakes Circuit) and GR 4® Hauts Plateaux et Monts d'Auvergne (Highlands and Mountains of Auvergne Circuit). To explore the Sancy Massif at your own pace, try the Boucle Sancy or the Tour des Vaches Rouges (Cézallier Circuit).
