For a long time, history was a man’s business. This tour is based on the work undertaken by the commune to find and promote women who have had an impact on the commune’s history. Whether they were midwives, scientists, politicians or members of the Resistance, they will help us to discover another side of Besse’s history.

The tourist office is located in the same building as the media library, at 13 rue Notre Dame. From Place de la Mairie and Place de l’Eglise, take Rue Notre Dame, access via the porch opposite the Oustaou restaurant.
