Architecture Thermale et Belle Epoque – La Bourboule
La Bourboule
The first traces of the thermal activity in La Bourboule go back to the 15th century: the rudimentary establishment with wooden baths of Jean Lacombe is mentioned as early as 1463. The hamlet takes the name of ‘La Borbola’; from the name of the Celtic god Borvo.
