It is an ideal place for an easy mountain walk. This huge area of pastureland offers a superb panorama of the Massif du Sancy and the Chaîne des Puys.
Framed by the Banne d’Ordanche Massif, the Aiguillier Massif and the Tuilière and Sanadoire rocks, it is also the highest lake in Auvergne at 1250m altitude.
