Accepted animals
From December to April: You may bring your dog only on a round-trip cable car ride to enjoy the panoramic view of the snow-capped peaks.
From May to October: You may bring your dog to Puy de Sancy by cable car or on foot, but only on a round-trip along the GR4E trail.
The trailhead is shared with the Dordogne Spring Trail (yellow sign). For the comfort of all visitors, your dog must be kept on a leash.
Dogs, even when on a leash, are prohibited in the Val de Courre, which is designated a National Nature Reserve. They are perceived as predators by wildlife, and their scent can disturb wild animals.
