Our commitment to Category I classification

For its commitments, the Sancy Tourist Office enjoys recognition by state services and Category I classification by the Puy de Dôme Prefecture. Check out those commitments here.

Classified in Category I, the Sancy Tourist Office  promises to:

  • Provide an accessible facility where you can obtain advice and information easily.

  • Facilitate your procedures.

  • Provide you with seating.

  • Provide you with free information on local tourist attractions and facilities.

  • Display and publish our opening times in at least two foreign languages.

  • Provide a free WiFi service.

  • Open our doors for at least 305 days per year, including Saturdays and Sundays in the holiday season and during special events.

  • Respond to your mail throughout the year.

  • Guarantee a permanent information service run by staff who speak at least two foreign languages.

  • Provide you with tourist maps, plans and guides in paper form.

  • Allow you access to a dedicated trilingual website suitable for consultation on mobile devices.

  • Provide tourist information also via paper publications, translated into at least two foreign languages, relating to:
    – all rated tourist accommodation, indicating as a strict minimum the establishment’s name, postal address, email address, Internet address and telephone number, as well as its rating;
    – sights and cultural, natural and recreational tourist attractions, indicating where possible their standard admission fees, public opening dates and times, website details, telephone number and postal address;
    – events and entertainment;
    – emergency telephone numbers.
  • Update our tourist information on an annual basis.
  • Display emergency telephone numbers outside the tourist office.
  • Present all official information concerning our relevant area and pertinent to all audiences.
  • Enable you to check the availability of rated accommodation.
  • Handle your claims and gauge your level of satisfaction.
  • Offer a tourist information service that incorporates new information and communication technologies (social media, smartphone versions, geolocation services, etc.).
  • Comply with requirements of the Qualité Tourisme brand.
  • Provide you with the guidance of a holiday advisor.
  • Guarantee the reliability and timeliness of information about local tourist attractions and facilities.
