An easy 50-minute walk around Auvergne’s most mysterious lake, Pavin.
In winter: the trail can be followed on foot or with snowshoes, depending on snow cover.
Isolated among the trees, Pavin is an intriguing lake:
a circle with an almost perfect diameter of 800 metres, a depth of 92 metres and dark waters that brighten up in summer and become turquoise-blue around the edges. In addition, this walk shaded by foliage offers beautiful views over the Massif, particularly Puy de la Perdrix.
