La Bourboule: The fairy rock

Do you know the story of the good fairies of Auvergne ? It is said that a long time ago, long before it became a spa, La Bourboule was inhabited by fantastic little creatures with magical powers. Some stories even say that they can still be seen at the fairy rock!

To find the fairies, you will have to know the story of the miraculous healing and discover the origins of the medicinal virtues of the waters of La Bourboule. To do this, you can follow the traces left by the fairies and the testimonies of those who have already had the chance to meet them.

Oy, oy brave Escuyer. Have you ever heard the story of the fantastic sword? A long time ago, Murat-le-Quaire experienced some very dark years. In those days, the castle still stood proudly in the valley. It was inhabited by an ogre more than 12 feet high, called Murgh the Terrifying. This terrible lord demanded every spring a great dowry of wheat and sheep and ruled over his people with a sharp sword.

In 1512, after a particularly harsh winter, the supplies ran out and the poor people could no longer afford to pay their dowry. Today you will go back in time. You will have to help Jacquou the cunning, a very mischievous serf, to free Murat-the-Queen from Murgh-the-Terrifying.

Besse : Discovering the mysteries of Lake Pavin

Lake Pavin is surrounded by legends and mysteries. Some stories say that its waters are bottomless. Others say that it is extraordinary and evil. One legend even says that it would hide in its depths a sunken city! However, for centuries, everyone here thought that this place was cursed.

Along the way, you will have to solve the riddles surrounding the lake. In your investigation, you will be accompanied by two historical figures who know the Pavin well: Antoine de Godivel and Charles Bruyant. It seems that in every legend there is some truth. One will help you by telling you the fabulous stories surrounding the lake while the other will bring you all his scientific knowledge.
